Available Dogs

I started a new job which is taking many more hours in a week than anticipated. It’s a great opportunity and we are building something phenomenal. However, instead of 30 hours a week, it turns out to be 40-60 hours a week. Which means I have less time for the dogs, which means I have to reduce the number of dogs here, both younger prospects and older retired ladies I was hoping could just live out their lives here. At the same time, post-Covid, several dogs came back to Wayeh for reasons listed below.

All dogs are priced at $250. Upon completion of a basic, public, group, obedience course, Petsmart for instance (not in-home training, not sending off for training, not ‘I’ve trained dogs for 20 years’), I will refund the price of the class up to $250. Socialization and you training this dog in a public dog-rich setting are the goals here, you are free and encouraged to do additional training, but this public, group class is the requirement for the refund. All vetting will be completed before they leave, including spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, as well as fecal and heartworm/tick-borne disease testing.

Returned to Wayeh

  • Emmer, b. 2017, 85# gray female, spayed & UTD on vetting, lives happily with male dogs, not female dogs, especially not 10# female terriers who think they are part alligator. Was a housedog.
  • Kennedy, b. 2022, 70# agouti male, neutered & UTD on vetting, lives with other females that let him think he is in charge, or by himself. Was a highly trained, housedog who was crated at night and took to obedience training eagerly and enthusiastically, but wants to be in charge of the dog hierarchy so would be best as an only or with a submissive female Malamute.

Rehomes

  • Cedar b. 2020, 65# red agouti female, spayed & UTD on vetting, lives with her sons or any other male, sweet and a little shy with strangers, but loves her humans and her dog buddies. Retired from breeding.
  • Drema, b. 2020, 85# gray female, to be spayed & UTD on vetting, lives with any male here, or her mother, a happy temperament. Didn’t work out for breeding.
  • Flower, b. 2022, 65# agouti female, to be spayed & UTD on vetting, lives with males or her mother, a bouncy enthusiastic temperament. I have her 2 sisters.
  • Grayson, b. 6/2023, 70# gray male, to be neutered & UTD on vetting, lives with bossy females like Gypsy. Can run for miles and miles.
  • Shazam b. 1/24, small for a Malamute male, to be neutered & UTD on vetting, lives with his brother and spayed mother Cedar.
  • Groot, b. 1/24, small for a Malamute male, to be neutered & UTD on vetting, lives with his brother and spayed mother Cedar.
