Spotlight, IABCA 1999

Hodgenville, KY, November 1999

INT CH Wayeh’s Spirit of the Sentinel “Spirit”
Sidney’s first Malamute champion.

(Our very first titled CH — because Spirit finished at 10:00 and the girls below finished at 1:00 <G>) Hodgenville was breeder Billie Stewart‘s favorite showgrounds and Spirit did her proud.

INT CH Juroblyn’s Shaconagee Echo “Echo”

Echo (13mo) our new CH Smoky Mountain Echo was also second in her class in Sweepstakes behind…

Nat’l CH Juroblyn’s Rhythm N Woos “Bess” (4mo)
Nat’l CH Bess (4mo) — voted the Mouth of the South by judge Honey Glendenning because Bess was not intimidated by all the other puppies who outweighed her by 100 pounds sometimes. She talked to everybody all day long. BUT when the CAT streaked across the Siberian ring, she never broke stride.

Our CH Bess was also BOB – Best of Breed two days and Group 2 two days, AND 2nd in PuppySweeps — we are very proud of her.

(National titles are the puppy titles at an IABCA or International show. This is a top rating for 3 days in a puppy class. To put the INT in front of a puppy title takes a fourth day — and it was a 3-day show. Then their titles would be INT Puppy CH if we could get them back to an INT show before they outgrew their class . Otherwise we’d have to start all over looking for 4 days of top ratings. As it is, we’ll settle for the National IABCA titles happily.)
