Yuki takes a Hike

Yuki loves her walks. Today we made it a hike. 3 miles, to Roddy Store and back, passed the firehall. The first half mile and the last half mile are over uneven ground, fields gone to seed and abandoned roadbeds that had the asphalt dug up 20 years ago and neglected ever since, subject to wash outs and frost heaves and you have to watch your step. This is fairly level terrain but great training for feet, ankles and lower calves. The middle part of the hike is the unmowed shoulders of 2-lane county roads (Old Roddy Straight), still it’s grassy and slopes away, but fairly smooth for all that.
