December 15, 2021 – Day 5 – clear and cold. Thanks nephew Andre for coming down from Oak Ridge TN, I love seeing this nephew of mine. Also, Londa, Ardis and Stephanie drove up from Huntsville, AL, who brought a woodchipper. In a truck. So we also went to Lowes for our first load of plywood and 2x4s. The dogs have been completely stressed out since this happened, irritable and restless, so today we also spent time loving on them. And they needed it. The two giant bags of treats and the beef hearts for dinner also helped. SO next is finish cleaning around the kennels so we can snake out the big logs and start rebuilding kennels, roofs, and doghouses. Still need a tree guy to drop the rest of the big trees. And need to clear out little trees, re-grade, and re-gravel the yards and driveway where it got torn up. Fix the broken pavers. There’s more, but it’s hard to look that far ahead. Off to sleep.
