When we did stop for the night, and I checked on the Mals, everything was exactly where we left it last time I checked, except one thing. The load didn’t shift and all were nice and snug in their beds. Except when I slid the door up and peered through the makeshift fence we had across the back, a head popped up from the middle aisle.

It was the heavily sable-faced agouti next to Kitty&Tude on the left hand side, for those who were there. We don’t have her name yet, but hope to get them next to a microchip scanner shortly.
