Lori Ann Hicks ‘ Masasyu Malamutes 1 week update.
They have come a loooong way, physically and mentally,.from the uproar and trauma of losing Lori, in New York, being abducted by aliens (me and Dru) and being beamed to a new home in Tennessee.
With two exceptions, the dogs are becoming dogs again. Digging holes, wagging and grinning in greeting, and offering kisses, some enthusiastically.
I’m seeing the dogs Lori spoke so lovingly of.
I am not pushing things inside the fences, but letting them approach me with the fence between us. Most of this has happened in the dark, because of my work schedule that’s when I leave and get home (we also moved the vet clinic this week so there was all of THAT, too.)
But they have, most of them, made loads of progress.
